Schema Therapy
An approach that goes deeper than surface-level symptoms to address the core emotional patterns formed in childhood. By identifying your specific core beliefs or "schemas" and learning how to navigate your methods of coping or "modes," you can stop the cycle of self-sabotage and build a more resilient, authentic life. You will learn to understand maladaptive coping patterns or “life-traps” that keep you stuck. The goal is to strengthen the “Healthy Adult” mode in order to empower us to change and be better versions of ourselves.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Helps you change the way you remember. This approach uses a unique combination of eye movements and memory visualization to help you move past trauma, anxiety, and depression. Unlike traditional talk therapy, ART focuses on the images stored in your brain. We work to replace distressing mental images with positive ones, so you can remember the past without being haunted by it.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Use skills and tools to change our thoughts, feelings and behaviors through practical concrete methods that almost everyone can understand, even young children.
To truly heal as human beings, we need the tools to change what isn't working and the skills to accept what is. By combining the cognitive-restructuring power of CBT with the emotional regulation and mindfulness of DBT, a balanced approach emerges. Using these methods, you challenge the thoughts that hold you back while gaining the 'in-the-moment' skills to handle intense emotions without feeling overwhelmed.
Family and Couples Therapy
Stop blaming and start bridging to help one another. In family and couples therapy, we stop looking for a "problem person" and start looking for a better way to live together. We treat the family and/or the couple as a team, identifying the communication cycles that keep you stuck and replacing them with patterns that foster respect and connection. It’s not about pointing fingers—it’s about healing the system so everyone feels heard. During our work together, sometimes we meet individually and at other times we meet in pairs or with the entire family. Your sessions are designed in a way that will give everyone in the family a chance to grow individually and as a team.
Therapy in Motion.
Sometimes, the best breakthroughs happen when we’re moving. Walk and Talk Therapy takes our session out of the office and into the fresh air, using the rhythm of walking to help unlock "stuck" emotions. By combining the healing power of nature with evidence-based talk therapy, we lower the pressure and raise the perspective. It’s the perfect option for clients who feel more creative, open, and grounded while in motion.
Active Engagement for Kids and Teens/Play Therapy
Whether we’re coloring, playing uno, building, or using sensory tools, play therapy allows kids and teens to process complex feelings that they might not have the words for yet. From creative drawing to competitive games, I use play to build a bridge of trust, helping young clients regulate their emotions while feeling safe, seen, and understood.
Group Therapy
A supportive, confidential space for connection, growth, and healing. Adult groups address experiences such as grief and loss, caregiving stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Groups for children and adolescents focus on peer pressure, self-esteem, healthy relationships, emotional expression, and building confidence. Guided by a licensed therapist, participants can share experiences, develop practical coping skills, and feel less alone alongside others navigating similar challenges.
